Want to go to a concert that starts on time? Make sure they’re filming it.
Really, it’s not an overstatement. This thing said that Neon Indian was going to start playing at the Studio in Webster Hall at 9:00 pm and they did. It went one for a solid hour. They were shooting it so that it could be streamed online for MTV.com. The crowd wasn’t packed, I could easily get to the front. It was the most ideal concert experience I could ever ask for. And the music didn’t disappoint. And yeah, I’m going to call it chillwave, damnit.
