There’s so much music I need to know that I don’t. And this song is a perfect example of that. I was reminded of it when I decided to re-watch “Boogie Nights” last week. This song came up in a pivotal scene that I won’t give away, for those of you who haven’t seen it yet. But it was played during a scene set at New Year’s 1979, at a moment when things were about to explode, for the worst.
This is why i envy those who make soundtracks, or I guess people who work at the odd Sirius radio station that goes for deep tracks. I’d just like to spend hours getting into music of a time and place to find gold like this. Just wanted to post it for your enjoyment…
