Michael McDonald is setting my world on fire.

It’s making me rethink everything. You’ll find me nowadays listening to the Doobie Brothers. “What a Fool Believes” is the recent yatch rock that’s on full rotation in my listening, though I’ve dabbled in “Seals and Crofts” and Christopher Cross before - not to mention my favorite, Robbie Dupree: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2QGfeHIIXU. Michael McDonald collaborated with Grizzly Bear - they sent him the track and he sent them back some vocals. It is sold as the B-side track to the original “While You Wait For the Others.” He’s also supposedly working with Holy Ghost! on a track, which isn’t out yet, but if you want to get a feel for their music, I’d highly recommend this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2QGfeHIIXU

Michael McDonald just got his biggest fan. I will lobby for his place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. More on Neil Diamond’s lack of nomination into the hall of fame later!
